Jesus replied, “If you only knew who I am and the gift that God wants to give you, you’d ask me for a drink, and I would give you living water.”

One of the prayers I wrote for the month of December was, "God we pray for Jacob's Well encounters. Give us living water today, knowledge and understanding of the revelation of who You are. John 4:10."
"Jacob's well encounters", let's let that permeate our thoughts. In 2023 Holy Spirit is going to be showing off. Your prayers will be answered but He will be surprising you how they're answered. Remember His love for you. He's luring you, vying for your attention. You will be surprised this year-many times over- just like the woman at Jacob's well. Jesus had not revealed himself as the Messiah, the Savior of the World, to anyone and He chose her. He chose her on an average day, no notice- just a big surprise. And the whole town became lit from THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.
The journey just to get to the well was a tiresome one. Yet even after the disciples went to get food Jesus didn't eat. He was full. Your surprises are His sustenance.
"Then the disciples began to insist that Jesus eat some of the food they brought back with them, saying, “Teacher, you must eat something.” But Jesus told them, “I have eaten a meal you don’t know about.” To clarify, Jesus spoke up and said, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and bring it to completion.”"
John 4:31-32, 34 TPT
Father God, give us world changing blessings and revelations of who You are so that like the woman at the well we can light this world on fire for you. We know that it fills you up to bless us and that our current troubles are fleeing in this new revelation of your love and light. Amen. Amen.
