I saw God

We were sitting in a Wednesday night service. We normally keep our daughter with us but this time I felt like we should put her in the nursery. The lead pastor's son, Pastor Cole Stewart, was preaching on disappointment. A profound, great message, but obviously not for me. As he was speaking, I saw a square, detailed in design, that looked like the end of a curtain rod. I was so happy to have this vision. But after a minute, I thought, "Ok lord, the end of a curtain rod?! Awesome! You're going to have to show me more- I have no idea what that means." I'd say 5 minutes later I had the main vision. I've had a handful of big, significant visions in my my life and this was one of them. It was God. He was almost walking by with His left hand handing me a scroll and I was VERY small in comparison to Him. HE WAS SO BIG. HE WAS SO HAPPY. He was laughter, joy, unspeakable laughter and joy but He was not laughing. He was smiling at me as He handed me this scroll. Not only was God smiling at me- He was giving me something- this ornate, special scroll! Wow! Right after this, Brittney singing in worship as she was on her knees said, "Ask God what He will give you if you lay it down." At this point I had to go to my knees- I had to touch this holy ground. I knew at that point this was a word for the body. God just showed me! He showed me what He's waiting to give us if we lay (disappointment- whatever is bothering you) down, God has a scroll for you! Pastor Teri Furr said the Lord told her Daniel (playing keyboard) and Brittney singing carried an anointing to heal souls. Heaven was in that room. God was with us and I saw Him and that He's waiting to hand you something special- just for you.

Now, I have no idea what the scroll said. Seeing Him-beholding the colors, His joy made me undone. Yes, I'm asking God what the scroll says. My point is, seeing His face of love and joy towards me (towards you), is enough to have renewed hope, a confident expectation of good. Something good, beyond my ability to transcribe, is coming to you.

Check out the song Something Good by Anthony Brown. God Bless. My artist daughter drew my vision..
