Darius Dollars

We've heard of Zukerbucks. How about some Darius Dollars?!

"Moreover I issue a decree as to what you shall do for the elders of these Jews, for the building of this house of God: Let the cost be paid at the king’s expense from taxes on the region beyond the River; this is to be given immediately to these men, so that they are not hindered."

Ezra 6:8 NKJV

If you read through the old Testament you will see the fate of those who took from God's house and gave it to a foreign king, offered it to false gods, or used it for fun (see Nebuchadnezzar or his son Belshazzar (Daniel 5:1-4)). In the book of Ezra with King Darius, the second successor to King Cyrus, Zerubbabel the governor was trying to rebuild the temple and had provision. When we set our minds and proclaim with our mouths: "...We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the temple that was built many years ago.." [Ezra 5:11 NKJV], we step into HIS GLORY. "Who are YOU to rebuild?", the enemy may say. But in our authority with Christ we can boldly affirm our intentions and in doing so enter HIS glory, flowing with ALL provision- financial and otherwise. Everything is multiplied on this side of the cross. We have provision, yes. Healing, joy-all the fruits of Holy Spirit. So instead of saying financial provision, which seems small in comparison to all the provisions, I refer to the culmination of the heavenly realm we have access to as THE GLORY. Because of Jesus we can bring to earth all these provisions. We must feel the weight of rebuilding His temple, bringing Heaven to earth, and know all provsions- greater than the King Darius Dollars- will be there.
